Wreaths Across America (WAA) is a nonprofit organization that honors veterans, active-duty military, and their families by placing wreaths on their graves:

Mission: WAA's mission is to remember, honor, and teach the value of freedom.

Annual events: WAA's annual events include National Wreaths Across America Day, which takes place on the second or third Saturday of December. On this day, volunteers place live wreaths on the headstones of veterans at more than 3,000 communities across the United States.

Wreaths: Each handmade wreath is made in the United States with Maine balsam.

Other activities: WAA also has other activities throughout the year, including a pilgrimage from Harrington, Maine to Arlington National Cemetery, which is known as "the world's largest veterans' parade".

Programs: WAA has several programs, including the TEACH Program, the Mobile Education Exhibit, and the Remembrance Tree Program.

Headquarters: WAA's headquarters are located in Columbia Falls, Maine, where the National Museum and Gold Star Family History & Hospitality House are located.

Arapahoe Chapter’s objective is to focus solely at Mountain View Memorial Park (3016 Kalmia Ave, Boulder, CO 80301) Our goal is to lay 1200 wreaths on the graves of veterans!
