Colorado State Regent's Theme 2013-2015:  Exploring DAR Golden Opportunities
in history/historic preservation, education, patriotism, membership, recognition awards, volunteering, and celebrating America in Colorado.

Colorado State Regent's Project:  The goal is to endow the State Elementary/Secondary Teacher Scholarship established by Honorary State Regent, Donna Bottini and to award the first scholarship in 2016.

DAR members are educators, students, professionals, mothers, historians, genealogists, and homemakers who take an active role in their communities promoting our objectives.  With almost 3000 chapters throughout the world, and over  170,000 members, DAR is one of the largest women's organizations in the world.

Membership in DAR offers a number of benefits, including:

bullet Participation in commemorative events such as Constitution Week, Flag Day, Veterans Day, and July 4th
